Terms of Service

The terms for using the CourtPilot website and customer portal.

Last updated: October 2026

Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Pharos Erikusa Inc., a Florida corporation that operates CourtPilot, and govern your use of CourtPilot, including courtpilot.net and the CourtPilot customer portal (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What CourtPilot is

CourtPilot is a legal case-organization and technology platform designed to assist self-represented litigants. It helps you organize cases, hearings, deadlines, tasks and documents, and includes an AI assistant that explains and organizes information you provide.

CourtPilot is not a law firm, does not provide legal representation or legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. See our Disclaimer.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. Please provide accurate information.

Subscription — $59 per month

  • CourtPilot Access costs $59 USD per month, plus any applicable taxes shown at checkout.
  • Your subscription renews automatically every month, and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period, until you cancel.
  • The subscription includes a monthly AI usage allowance under the platform's credit rules. Unused monthly allowance does not carry over.
  • If your AI usage allowance is used up, the AI assistant pauses until your next renewal or an additional purchase. Your cases, documents, calendar, deadlines and tasks remain available.

Additional AI usage — $9.99

  • You may make a separate one-time purchase of additional AI usage for $9.99 USD, plus any applicable taxes.
  • Additional AI usage is subject to the platform's existing credit rules: it does not expire and is used only after your monthly allowance is used up.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in your portal ("Manage billing, invoices & cancellation"), or by contacting support@courtpilot.net. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry the payment. Access may be limited if payment is not completed.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You allow CourtPilot to store, process and display it only to provide the Service to you, including sending relevant content to AI service providers when you use the AI assistant. You confirm that you have the right to upload it.

AI-generated information

AI-generated information is produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions. You should independently verify dates, deadlines, citations, quotations and court requirements against your original documents and with the court.

Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for reviewing your documents, confirming court requirements, meeting deadlines and making decisions about your legal matters. Do not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful content or use the Service to harm others.

No guarantee of outcomes

CourtPilot does not guarantee court outcomes, successful litigation, acceptance of filings, or compliance with every applicable court rule.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and CourtPilot is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, missed deadlines, or the outcome of any legal matter. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you through the Service or by email.
